The Group for Technical Assistance (GTA) is a non-government, non-profit and non-political national organization based in Nepal. GTA was registered under the District Administration Office of Kathmandu in 1998 and has maintained its affiliation with the Social Welfare Council since then. Our core projects include education, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), gender advocacy and research, mainly surrounding public health. We adhere to community-based, bottom-up approach with a greater emphasis on uplifting the poor and marginalized groups in the country.
GTA Nepal was registered as a Non-profit and Non-Government Organization (NGO) under the Kathmandu District Administrative Office (CDO) and Social Welfare Council (SWC) in 1998. GTA conducts research, advocacy, and projects with support from national and international experts.

We vision a country where everyone has access to civil and human rights regardless of their gender, caste, religion, ethnicity and class. We intend to ensure that underprivileged, vulnerable and poor communities in Nepal benefit from developmental interventions.
